Bicycle For Two

I want a vintage bicycle.
I would cycle all around town with my new boots and winter coat on. The only thing I don't like about bicycles is that you have to wear a helmet, it ruins your hair and looks silly but these bikes are so pretty and romantic.

I am loving the colour of the second bike and I also would adore a basket so I could take my baby Snookus for wee rides.

Fun In The Sun

The weather has been lovely for quite a while now so last week Sone, Michelle and I had a lovely picnic. We made yummy cupcakes and drank tea in the summer sun.
I really want to try and make iced tea. Is it like iced coffee which is just cold coffee or do you actually have to add ingredients? I will have to search my recipe books for some good ideas.
Let me know if you know any yummy cold drink recipes, this summer I am keen to try some new things.

In The Summer Sun

Here in New Zealand we are still in the beginnings of Spring, we are not in Winter anymore but not quite up to that burning hot Summer Sun.

At the moment we have been having quite a bit of rain but yesterday for a change it was so beautiful and sunny. I was able to wear nothing on my arms for the whole day and my friends and I got out and about and went for a lovely walk around the lake. It was a wonderful day.

I Can See A Rainbow

At the start of September I decided to stop eating all sweeties, not because they are bad (they most certainly are not) but because I need to control my wild eating habits. You see I have the very bad habit of seeing something scrummy, for example a cupcake or piece of fudge, and I will just gobble it up not even thinking twice.

If you were to ask if I were a savory or a sweet person, you would most certainly get the answer sweet. I just cannot help myself, the mere thought of something soft and spongy covered in a sweet sweet butter icing makes me melt.

So for one month I am seeing if I can stop my guilty pleasure of indulging in all things sugary and sweet.

What are your favorite sweets? Mine would have to be skittles or jelly beans.

Floral Bunting & a Moose Head

It has been way too long since I have last posted and I apologize for that. You know how time gets away from you and every spare minute you get goes into resting or in my case watching Gilmore Girls. It is my most recent obsession.

So at the moment it's Spring and today is a particularly charming day. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and yesterday I saw a baby Alpaca! It was super cute and now I want one.

Last week was super busy, myself and a few friends went up to Auckland for a conference. It was so good and you'll never guess where we stayed ..... on a yacht. Ok, so it wasn't the best looking one but nevertheless it was exciting.

So next year, Melissa and I are setting off on the adventure of a lifetime. In May, we plan to leave our friends and family, in order to go and explore the world. I have my heart set on America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Whilst Melissa is looking forward to op shopping in Paris and taking a gondola ride on the Venice canal. How Peachy

I want to go camping so very bad!

I have just got back from a block course that we had at a holiday park. It was at the beach, which is great, but alas I could not swim or anything because it was raining.

The first day it was kind of sunny and it just made my week. Myself and a few friends, new and old, decided to make the most of the glorious sun and play a little bat down & soccer. My sister got hit with the ball and I got kicked in the shin by a boy. Although there were some casualties I enjoyed myself extremely.

I also have learnt a new card game and made some brand new friends, oh joy!

Wedding Bliss

My wonderful mama is getting married this year and I have the privilege of making her wedding cake and invitations. She is marrying the love of her life on the beach and this will be the first time I get to be a bridesmaid. All she wants is a small, simple wedding just with family and close friends. That is totally the opposite of what I want. My wedding day is going to be so full on! But my mamas is going to be lovely as well.
